The batman is a thrilling film that takes on the iconic superhero and brings him to a whole new level. With captivating nail biting action to the cleaver riddles I rate this movie a 7.5 out of 10. With the amazing director Matt Reeves directing it. Let's start with the good. The film its self was amazing. I enjoyed how dark it was and it really puts a spin on how batman has been played for years. Due to the almost 3 hour runtime for the first act was pretty slow but picks up by the end. Robert Patterson does an incredible job playing this iconic character, He had made the character really scream violence. Zoe kravits also does an incredible job as Catwomen and her side story was also great writing. Colin Farrell was also unrecognisable playing the penguin and he did an amazing job. To sum everything up The Batman was an incredible movie with great action sequences and great writing. Although the movie starts off slow it does get way better by the end. I would recommend this movie to anyone that loved the Joker because this film is just as dark. I would also recommend this to any DC and Superhero lover.
